Logistics & Expediting Supervisor

Our client is a leading provider of operations and maintenance services for power generation and water desalination plants across the Middle East and internationally.Role Overview:We are seeking a proactive Logistics & Expediting Supervisor to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers to site, ensuring on-time delivery, accurate documentation, and cost-efficient logistics. The role requires strong vendor management, SAP knowledge, and the ability to liaise across internal teams to guarantee seamless operations and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Logistics & Expediting: Monitor supplier deliveries, expedite shipments, and implement contingency plans to avoid disruption to operations.Documentation Management: Prepare and process all shipping and clearance documents (POs, Bills of Lading, AWBs, Delivery Notes, etc.) in line with regulatory and company requirements.Internal Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery schedules and timely vendor payments.Purchase Order Oversight: Generate POs, obtain approvals, track vendor confirmations, and follow up on expediting and invoicing.Supplier Relationship Management: Support vendor evaluations and contribute to performance reviews to ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs.Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate records in SAP, prepare regular reports, and ensure adherence to HSSE procedures and community standards.Continuous Improvement: Identify and support initiatives to optimize logistics efficiency and service delivery.Ideal Candidate:Proven experience in logistics, expediting, or supply chain management, ideally within O&M, utilities, or large-scale industrial projects.Proficient in SAP and logistics documentation processes.Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining compliance and quality standards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
