OverviewLogistics Coordinator - Offshore Jack up RigThe Logistics Coordinator ensures smooth supply chain operations for offshore rigs, managing shipments, inventory, and compliance with Qatar's regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain & Inventory ManagementCoordinate cargo shipments (drilling equipment, spare parts, chemicals) to rigs via supply vessels/helis.Track inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.Liaise with procurement, vendors, and customs for import/export clearance.Offshore Logistics SupportPlan supply vessel schedules (in coordination with rig crews).Monitor fuel, water, and bulk material deliveries.Manage helicopter logistics (crew changes, emergencies).Documentation & ComplianceEnsure Qatar Customs, MME (Ministry of Energy), and Qatar Energy (QP) regulations are followed.Prepare shipping manifests, customs paperwork, and HSE documentation.Emergency & Cost ControlHandle urgent deliveries (e.g., broken equipment replacements).Optimize costs by comparing freight options and minimizing downtime.Software & ReportingUse logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or rig-specific tools).Generate daily/weekly logistics reports for rig managers.QualificationsExperience3+ years in offshore/oilfield logistics (Jackup rig experience preferred).Familiarity with Qatar Energy (QP) supply chain processes.CertificationsBOSIET/FOET (if offshore visits are required).DG (Dangerous Goods) Handling certification (for chemical shipments).SkillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and logistics software.Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
