Job Description As a Logistics Specialist Lead at our company located in Pune, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing logistics operations across domestic and international markets. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and inspiring the logistics team to achieve operational goals and exceed performance expectations. - Developing and implementing logistics strategies aligned with company objectives for cost, delivery, and service quality. - Managing relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers. - Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, Letters of Credit, and contractual shipping terms. - Overseeing the preparation and accuracy of shipping documentation and commercial invoices. - Monitoring logistics KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives. - Leading cross-functional teams to resolve logistics-related issues and implement corrective actions. - Negotiating freight contracts and optimizing transportation costs. - Coordinating Returned Material Authorization (RMA) processes and ensuring timely resolution. - Maintaining and updating standard operating procedures and ensuring team adherence. - Conducting regular audits of freight bills and resolving discrepancies. - Collaborating with warehouse managers to align shipping volumes and resource allocation. - Championing sustainability and safety initiatives within logistics operations. - Supporting transportation-related projects and strategic initiatives.
