Livestock specialist vacancy in Riyadh Saudi ArabiaLivestock SpecialistWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the health and well-being of our livestock, including cattle, sheep, and goats.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular health checks on all livestock to ensure their well-being and identify any potential issues.Develop and implement feeding and nutrition plans for different types of livestock.Monitor the growth and development of livestock to ensure they are meeting expected targets.Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.Maintain accurate records of livestock health and performance.Identify and address any potential disease outbreaks or biosecurity risks.Oversee breeding programs for optimal production results.Train and supervise other employees in proper handling and care of livestock.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Animal Sciences or related field preferred.Minimum 2 years experience working with livestock, preferably in a similar role.Knowledge of animal husbandry techniques, breeding programs, nutrition, and health management practices.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions for the welfare of the animals.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.We offer competitive salary packages, including benefits such as healthcare coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
