As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the care and well-being of our livestock, including cattle, sheep, goats, and poultry.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement breeding programs to improve the quality of our livestockMonitor and maintain the health of all animals on the farmOversee feeding schedules and ensure proper nutrition for all animalsManage herd size and make decisions on culling and selling of animalsTrain and supervise farm staff on proper animal handling techniquesMaintain accurate records of animal health, breeding, and production dataStay up-to-date onindustry trends and implement best practices for animal careCollaborate with veterinarians for routine health checks and treatment plans when neededQualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Animal Science or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience working with livestock in a farm settingStrong knowledge of animal husbandry, breeding techniques, nutrition, and disease preventionAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent communication skillsPhysically fit to handle the demands of working with large animalsWillingness to work flexible hours including weekendsCompensation and how to applyWe offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month along with accommodation.
