The successful candidate will provide consistency, structure, and positive mentorship, fostering independence while maintaining clear boundaries.The family is looking for a warm, engaging individual who can build a close, trusting bond while confidently providing leadership and guidance appropriate for a pre-teen.Key ResponsibilitiesMorning & School RoutineEarly start (approximately 5:45am–6:00am) to oversee the morning routineEnsure the child is prepared for school: dressed appropriately, well-presented, and has eaten breakfastSchool drop-off at 7:20am and collection at 1:30pmAfternoon & Evening RoutineSupervise homework and provide academic supportOversee music practice and extracurricular activities (tennis, piano, dance)Monitor and manage device usage and screen timeEnsure a calm and consistent bedtime routine (typically 9:30pm)Organisation & DevelopmentPrepare school bags, uniforms, and lunches in advanceMaintain and organise the child’s wardrobeCoordinate schedules, activities, and playdatesEncourage independence, confidence, and positive social skillsProvide gentle mentoring appropriate to this age groupTravel & Household IntegrationOversee packing and organisation for family travelTravel with the family when requiredWork harmoniously within a fully staffed household, ensuring smooth daily routinesCandidate RequirementsProven experience working with pre-teens or teenagers as a Nanny, Governess, or in a comparable educational roleFluent English speaker (additional languages advantageous)Strong organisational skills with the ability to create structure and consistencyWarm, approachable, and emotionally intelligentConfident in setting boundaries while maintaining a nurturing approachProactive, forward-thinking, and able to anticipate needsExperience in fully staffed private households preferredDriving licence advantageous but not essentialPrivate bedroom and bathroom within the family villaPlease tick if you've previously uploaded a CV.By signing up to Exclusive Household Staff you are agreeing to our Standard Terms and Conditions and consenting to Exclusive Household Staff processing your personal details in relation to potential job vacancies.Your privacy is important to us.
