For more information, visit www.tcs.com and follow TCS news at @TCS_News.Job DescriptionRoles and responsibilitiesPerform end to end Linux administration tasksFix performance issues and operational bottlenecksTroubleshoot and provide fixes with L3 actions for certain system issues or componentsPrompt analysis and mitigation actionsAdminister high availability (HA) of infrastructure systems on RHEL, OEL & AIXAdminister the IaaS Linux instances on multiple cloud platformWork as a cloud infra‑administrator managing technical procedures all the Linux instances and related components in multiple cloud tenancyInfrastructure monitoring and reporting validationOperational process automation to the maximum extentPatch management for cloud and on prem physical & virtual servers, YUM repositories & RedHat Satellite management.Security compliances and adherence, system tuning, apply security best practices, comply CIS hardening standardsMust Have skillsShould have good hands‑on knowledge and experience in LMV operations and LV migration across servers.Should have proficiency in system hardeningShould have working knowledge of Linux HA cluster, GFS2 clusters.Experienced with Linux servers in virtualized environmentsFamiliarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languagesGood understanding of Linux firewalls, proficient with network tools such as iptables etc.Ability to build and monitor services on production servers.Understanding and working experience of IBM AIXUnderstanding of configuration management tools, such as Puppet and Chef will be an added advantageShould have worked as RedHat Satellite Manager, RHUI would be an added advantage.Expected to be RedHat certified professional, Cloud certification with any of Azure / Oracle / IBM Cloud will be an added advantage.Thank you for your interest in applying for this position with TCS.
