David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Lighting Department Manager for their offices in Ras Al Khaimah.Position: Lighting Department Manager Location: Ras Al Khaimah UAEEmployment type: Full-time Remuneration: Base salary DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage all aspects of the department within a fast-paced live production environment ensuring efficient operations and alignment with overall production goals.Establish implement and maintain departmental policies procedures and best practices to ensure high standards and continuous improvement.Work closely with directors producers and technical teams to coordinate strategies that support production requirements.Supervise mentor and evaluate team members providing training and fostering a supportive collaborative work environment.Oversee inventory maintenance and allocation of equipment and resources ensuring readiness under tight deadlines while driving innovation.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance and departmental activities.Identify troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while preparing reports for senior leadership and staying informed on industry developments to improve operations.REQUIREMENTS:Fluent in English with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communicationProven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a live production broadcast or similar technical environment.Strong knowledge of relevant equipment systems and techniques with a solid understanding of applicable safety standards and best practices.Demonstrated ability to lead develop and motivate a team with experience in performance management and staff development.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities work under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and provide clear reporting to senior management.Proactive innovative and flexibleAbility to work variable shifts including nights and weekends to support 24/7 operations.BENEFITS: Competitive salary with bonus opportunities based on performancePaid training to familiarise with the companys high standards and proceduresPrivate Health Insurance for comprehensive medical coverageOpportunities to advance within a global tech companyAnd many others!!!
