Lifting Supervisor (LEEA Certified)

The Lifting Supervisor will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling all lifting operations at site to ensure they are carried out safely and efficiently. The role requires strict compliance with LEEA guidelines, approved lifting plans, project specifications, and HSE standards within an Oil & Gas environment.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans and method statementsEnsure full compliance with LEEA standards, client requirements, and project HSE policiesCoordinate closely with crane operators, riggers, engineers, and site managementVerify the certification, condition, capacity, and suitability of cranes, lifting gear, and accessories before useEnsure all lifting equipment is inspected, color-coded, and valid as per project requirementsConduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and pre-lift briefingsMonitor lifting activities and intervene to stop any unsafe acts or conditionsReport incidents, near misses, and non-conformances related to lifting operationsMaintain lifting records, permits, and documentation as required by the projectRequirements & Qualifications:Diploma or equivalent technical qualificationValid LEEA Certification (Mandatory)Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting SupervisorProven Oil & Gas project experience (Mandatory)Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, cranes, rigging practices, and risk assessmentsGood understanding of HSE standards and safe lifting practicesAbility to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teamsContract Details:Duration: 1 Year (Extendable based on performance and project requirements)Location: Ras Laffan#J-18808-Ljbffr
