Job Description
Plan and execute lifting operations in accordance with project specifications, HSE regulations, and BS 7121 standards.Develop detailed lifting plans (Auto CAD) for basic, intermediate, and complex lifts, including heavy and critical operations.Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and JSAs to ensure safe lifting practices.Supervise rigging teams and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and HSE personnel on-site.Inspect, maintain, and certify lifting equipment, accessories, and rigging stores.Train, assess, and qualify riggers, operators, and lifting personnel.Ensure readiness and availability of lifting equipment and accessories.Monitor crane activities, coordinate heavy crane scheduling, and supervise site lifts.Prepare erection schemes for heavy equipment and over-dimensional loads.Provide technical oversight and advisory support during audits, shutdowns, and turnaround projects.Liaise with clients, ensuring compliance and satisfaction on lifting-related deliverables.Certifications:LEEA Appointed Person (AP)Valid TUV certificateExperience:Minimum 5 years in lifting and rigging within Oil & GasShutdowns, turnarounds, tank erection, heavy/critical lifts, offshore logistics.
