Lifting / Rigging Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lifting / Rigging Engineer to support project site operations in Qatar. The role is responsible for planning, reviewing, and supervising safe and efficient lifting and rigging activities in full compliance with project requirements, Qatar Energy, and RLIC standards.Role SummaryPlan, review, and approve lifting studies, lifting plans, and rigging proceduresSupervise and monitor lifting and rigging operations to ensure safe executionEnsure compliance with Qatar Energy, RLIC, and project HSE standardsCoordinate with construction, engineering, and site teams during lifting activitiesSupport brownfield project operations, including complex and critical liftsReview drawings, calculations, and lifting analyses prior to executionQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMinimum 10 years of experience in lifting & rigging engineering(Oil & Gas project experience preferred)Strong knowledge of Qatar Energy and RLIC standardsProven experience in brownfield projectsProficiency in AutoCAD and lifting analysis software/toolsStrong understanding of heavy lifting equipment, cranes, and rigging methodsValid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatorySkillsLifting & Rigging EngineeringLifting Plans & StudiesRigging Operations#J-18808-Ljbffr
