OverviewPosition: Lifting SupervisorCompany: Al Sahraa GroupLocation: Abu Dhabi United Arab EmiratesSalary: 3500 AEDResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate all lifting activities on site including reviewing lift plans and conducting site inspectionsManage a team of crane operators, riggers, and other lifting personnel to ensure safe and efficient execution of all lifting tasksEnsure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policiesConduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety among the lifting teamMonitor and maintain lifting equipment to ensure it is in good working conditionKeep accurate records of all lifting operations including lift plans, risk assessments, and incident reportsCommunicate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates on lifting operations and address any concerns or issuesTrain and mentor new lifting personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectivelyContinuously seek opportunities for improvement and implement new processes or procedures to enhance the efficiency and safety of lifting operationsQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in the construction industryStrong knowledge of lifting equipment and techniquesFamiliarity with relevant safety regulations and standardsExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyValid lifting supervisor certificationFluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
