Box 7Flexible Work Arrangement: OnsiteJob Category: Aircraft Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO)Career Level: ProfessionalRequisition Id: 5428Position SummaryThe Licensed Helicopter Maintenance Engineer (LAME) is accountable for modifications, maintenance, repair, and installation of aircraft systems as assigned by the Contract Manager/CAMO. The role ensures all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements, maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational performance.Main ResponsibilitiesQuality, Safety and EnvironmentEnsure maintenance performed on aircraft systems is conducted in compliance with company policies, procedures, and Civil Aviation regulations.Certify work and release aircraft systems in accordance with relevant license categories and company approval certificates.Actively participate and comply with Jet Aviation’s WH&S and Environment programs and Aviation Safety Management System.People LeadershipProvide operational management and clear direction to Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Fitters) for allocated maintenance tasks.Maintenance ManagementManage and control assigned aircraft maintenance activities on a daily basis.Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of assigned aircraft systems modification, maintenance, repair, or installation.Ensure parts are ordered within appropriate timeframes to meet project or job deadlines while maintaining cost control.Review job packs for assigned projects or jobs to ensure completeness and alignment with customer requirements.Provide input to customer projects and respond to customer queries and complaints as required.Utilize company ERP systems to ensure time and attendance are correlated with projects.Use computerized maintenance tracking software for project management.Sales and Customer ManagementProvide regular feedback to the Contract Manager/CAMO on the progress of planned system modification, maintenance, service, or installations.Provide input into responses to customer queries and complaints.Regulatory and ComplianceEnsure maintenance performed on assigned aircraft systems is conducted in compliance with relevant Civil Aviation regulations, Military or OEM requirements.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements.Key ChallengesEnsure smooth workflow on assigned jobs with minimal disruptions by effective use of allocated manpower and resources.Complete aircraft work packs and logbook entries in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.Ensure assigned modification, maintenance, repair, or installation is performed in compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant Civil Aviation regulations.Raise ASRs (Over & Above defects) at the time of identification of additional work and ensure accuracy.Track progress of work to ensure deadlines are maintained.Provide directions to AMEs and Technicians to assist them in meeting customer delivery schedules.Implement remedial actions to correct project or job overruns.Provide input into parts ordering for assigned projects to ensure parts are available to meet scheduled delivery times.Regularly audit project documentation to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.Provide input into customer queries and/or complaints.Minimum RequirementsMinimum Licensed Helicopter Maintenance Engineer qualification.Experience working in an aircraft maintenance facility performing system maintenance and modifications.Demonstrated understanding of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft systems maintenance.People management skills in an operational environment.Experience in a customer-focused work environment with multiple priorities and project deadlines.Company and customer focused.Results oriented.Proactive and self-motivated.Team player.Basic computer literacy in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and computerized maintenance tracking and work order software.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
