Indian Librarian in Sharjah, UAEWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Indian Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, providing assistance to library patrons, and promoting library services and programs.Salary:We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.City and Country:This position is located in Sharjah, UAE.Nationality/Location Preference:We are looking for Indian candidates who are currently residing in Sharjah or willing to relocate.Experience:No previous experience is required for this position. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.Accommodation:We provide accommodation for our employees as part of the job package.Visa:Candidates must have their own valid visa to work in the UAE.Responsibilities:- Organize and maintain library resources such as books, magazines, newspapers, and audio/visual materials.- Assist library patrons with finding and borrowing materials.- Create engaging displays and activities to promote library services and programs.- Manage library budget and make purchasing decisions for new materials.- Train and supervise library staff members.- Keep track of borrowed materials and ensure they are returned on time.- Develop partnerships with local schools or community organizations to promote the use of the library.- Stay updated on new technologies and trends in the library field.- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.- Familiarity with different types of library resources and technology systems.If you are an enthusiastic individual with a passion for books and knowledge, we encourage you to apply for this position.
