As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Librarian in managing the library and providing support to library users.ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service to library users, including answering inquiries and assisting with locating materialsAssist with the organization and maintenance of library collections, including shelving books and other materialsProcess new library materials, including labeling, cataloging, and entering into digital databasesMonitor and track library inventory, making recommendations for ordering new materials as neededAssist with planning and implementation of library programs and events for the communityMaintain cleanliness and orderliness of the library spaceCollaborate with other staff members to develop strategies for improving library servicesRequirementsMalayalee nationality preferredNo previous experience required; training will be provided on-the-jobStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively in English is a plus but not requiredMust be able to work independently as well as part of a teamComfortable working with technology such as computers and digital databasesBenefitsSalary of 1200$ per monthAccommodation providedOpportunities for professional development within the library field#J-18808-Ljbffr
