Librarian

OverviewWe are currently looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team at Ras-al-Khaimah. As a Librarian, you will have the opportunity to provide library patrons with excellent service, assist in the development of the library’s collections, and promote programs and activities that will engage the community.ResponsibilitiesMaintain the library’s collections, including cataloging and classifying new materials, shelving books and other materials in their proper place, and helping patrons locate items.Provide reference services by helping patrons locate information available in print or online resources.Develop programming for library patrons of all ages and coordinate volunteers for events.QualificationsExcellent customer service skills and a strong knowledge of library policies and procedures.Experience working with computers to manage databases of library collections as well as knowledge of cataloging systems.Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field is preferred but not required.We are ready to consider foreigners for this position with minimal work experience.Salary: 900 AED per month.Please apply today if you think you have what it takes to excel in this role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
