Librarian

OverviewWe are looking for a Librarian to join our library in Ras-al-Khaimah, UAE. We are ready to consider an immigrant for this role. Salary: 1400 AED per month plus benefits.The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge and understanding of library systems, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Previous work experience is not essential but would be advantageous.ResponsibilitiesManage the day to day operations of the library.Stock shelves, organize books and other materials.Assist patrons with research requests.Organize events and workshops.Manage circulation duties and cataloguing of materials.Provide guidance on how to use library resources effectively.QualificationsOrganized self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Basic knowledge of library systems.#J-18808-Ljbffr
