Librarian vacancy in Khalifah A City UAEPosition: Librarian Assistant (part-time)We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian Assistant to join our team in Khalifah A City. This is a part-time position with a salary of $900 per month. We offer a free visa and ticket for our employees.As a Librarian Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in managing the library collection, providing excellent customer service to library patrons, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the library. This job does not require English proficiency, making it suitable for non-native speakers.ResponsibilitiesAssist the librarian in cataloging and shelving books, magazines, and other materialsHelp patrons find materials they need and provide assistance with using library resourcesMonitor library usage and maintain an accurate record of borrowed itemsProcess new materials for circulation and assist with inventory managementMaintain order and cleanliness of the library by shelving books and tidying up workstationsAssist with planning and organizing library events and activitiesProvide friendly customer service to all library patronsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; degree in Library Science preferred but not requiredPrevious experience working in a library or similar setting is an advantageExcellent organizational skills with attention to detailGood communication skills; fluency in English is not required but preferredAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamBasic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteOur company values diversity and we welcome applicants from all African nationalities.
