Librarian - Part Time (Sharjah, UAE)A reputable library in Sharjah is seeking a part-time Librarian to join their team. This position is open to all nationalities, with no English language requirement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and knowledge, and possess excellent organizational skills.Responsibilities:- Manage the library's collection of books and other materials- Help patrons locate resources and provide assistance with research- Organize and classify materials according to library standards- Maintain the library's cataloging system and ensure accuracy of records- Assist with budget management and purchasing of new materials- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading in the community- Train and supervise library assistantsRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field- Experience working in a library or similar setting preferred- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)- Proficiency in using library software systems- Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamSalary:1400$ per month for 20 hours per week.Benefits:This position includes accommodation, free visa, and round-trip ticket.If you are passionate about books and want to be part of a dynamic team promoting knowledge and literacy, apply now!
