Librarian

Librarian (Indian/Malayalee)We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library's collection, providing assistance to library patrons, and promoting library resources and services.Key Responsibilities:- Manage the library's collection by cataloging, classifying, and shelving materials- Assist patrons in locating materials and provide guidance on using library resources- Promote library resources and services through outreach events and programs- Maintain accurate records of circulation, inventory, and patron interactions- Collaborate with other librarians to develop engaging programs and activities for all ages- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement new technologies to enhance the library experienceRequirements:- Indian or Malayalee nationality preferred- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field- Fluency in English is required for communication with patrons and colleagues- Prior experience working in a library setting is an asset but not required- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail- Strong customer service skills- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Flexibility to work full-time hours including evenings and weekendsIf you are passionate about books and helping others access information, then this may be the perfect job for you.
