Librarian

Part-Time Librarian (Indian Nationals)We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Librarian to join our team at a library in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As an Indian national, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and multicultural environment while utilizing your expertise in library services.Responsibilities:- Assist in the daily operations of the library, including circulation, reference, and technical services.- Help patrons with locating materials and providing information on library resources.- Conduct basic cataloging and classification of materials.- Take part in developing and implementing library programs and events.- Maintain accurate records of library transactions.- Ensure a clean and orderly library space for patrons.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.- Prior experience working in a library setting is preferred.- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Proficient in using library databases and technology.This is a part-time position without accommodation.
