<div><p>Develop and implement streamlined processes to effectively manage contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms. Play a pivotal role in providing support, guidance, and representation in litigation cases and resolution of disputes to protect our Company interests and manage legal risks. Deliver comprehensive reports to the General Counsel, offering detailed analysis and recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making.</p><h3>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES&ACTIVITIES</h3><h3>Contract Administration, Litigation and Dispute Resolution</h3><ul><li>Create and maintain comprehensive contract templates to comply with regulations and protect our Company’ interests.</li><li>Oversee contract preparation for suppliers and service providers, to ensure compliance and project optimization.</li><li>Support our Companyunits during contract negotiation efforts throughout the procurement efforts.</li><li>Support the investigation team when deemed necessary by giving legal advice on encountered cases to facilitate compliance with defined standards and legislative requirements.</li><li>Lead the preparation of briefs, complaints, motions, and other court documents to protect our Companyinterests and direct the initiation of litigation or court processes, as necessary.</li><li>Supervise legal document preparation, review, and maintenance to safeguard our Company’ rights and interests.</li><li>Oversee the management of various litigation and dispute settlement activities (e.g., labor, commercial, claims, etc.) and lead legal negotiations to ensure that all legal rights of our Company are protected.</li><li>Protect our Company’ rights by overseeing litigation, legal negotiations, and investigating malpractice or misconduct to ensure our Company interests are protected and upholds ethical standards within the organization.</li></ul><h3>Legal Compliance, Risk Mitigation, and Representation</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with the Legal and GRC department to integrate standard contract terms and conditions, facilitating adherence to legal requirements.</li><li>Supervise the review and update of contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms, promptly addressing any issues or ambiguities that may arise.</li><li>Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them, safeguarding our Company' interests and promoting successful contract execution.</li><li>Collaborate with management to deliver essential legal documents, strategic recommendations, and support, contributing to our Company’ overall success.</li><li>Oversee claims and write claim petitions and legal replies to protect our Company’ interests in all cases, as required.</li><li>Contribute to the identification and assessment of legal risks and issues, providing subject matter expertise on mitigation strategies to manage risks proactively and effectively.</li><li>Assist with the design and implement training and awareness programs relating to legal matters across the bank to enhance overall awareness and compliance.</li></ul><h3>Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures</h3><ul><li>Adhered to our Companypolicies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned sectional activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.</li><li>Contribute to the improvement and refinement of internal litigation and legal policies and procedures to enhance legal and regulatory compliance across our Company.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications/Requirements</h3><p><b>Required</b></p><p>Knowledge and Experience</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in law A minimum of 3 + years of experience is required, and in a role of similar discipline/capacity is mandatory.</li></ul><p><b>Equivalent</b></p><ul><li>Diploma’s degree in Law, Minimum of 6+ years of experience is required, and in a role of similar discipline/capacity is mandatory.</li></ul><p>Education</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in law, LLB, or any business-related discipline.</li><li>Diploma’s degree in Law, or any business-related discipline (Should be at least 2 years)</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
