Legal Manager

<div><p>A reputable energy and drilling services company based in the<b>Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia</b>is hiring a<b>Legal Manager</b>to support its Legal&Compliance Department.</p><p>The Legal Manager will be responsible for managing contract review, negotiation, compliance, and litigation coordination while maintaining high-quality legal governance and professional standards within the company.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including procurement agreements, drilling and oilfield services contracts, and rig build and shipyard contracts.</li><li>Manage engagement with external legal counsel on litigation, advisory, and consultancy matters.</li><li>Ensure effective implementation and enforcement of legal policies and procedures, including the contract management framework.</li><li>Provide proactive legal advice and support to operational, procurement, and management teams.</li><li>Monitor and manage legal risk across the business and ensure compliance with local and international laws.</li><li>Review and improve internal templates and procedures to standardize contracting processes.</li><li>Prepare and maintain documentation, legal opinions, and reports for senior management.</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Legal on all legal and compliance matters, operating with minimal supervision.</li></ul><h3>Candidate Profile</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university; preference for candidates educated under a Common Law system.</li><li>Minimum 10 years experience in corporate law, with exposure to oilfield services, drilling, or maritime industries.</li><li>Experience managing both in-house corporate legal work and external law firms.</li><li>Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, work ethic, and ability to maintain high-quality legal output under pressure.</li><li>Professional maturity, proactive approach, and the ability to work autonomously without micromanagement.</li><li>Experience from Big Four advisory firms or consultancy environments is a plus.</li><li>Excellent command of English; Arabic language is an advantage.</li><li>Willingness to relocate to Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
