Job Description As a Legal Entity Controller at Arvind Limited's Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Ahmedabad, India, your role involves leading the finance, accounting, and compliance framework for the GCC entity. You will play a crucial role in ensuring end-to-end financial governance, including statutory accounting, taxation, transfer pricing, and cross-charge allocations to group companies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end accounting and financial management for the GCC legal entity.
- Ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and group policies.
- Overseeing general ledger management, reconciliations, financial close, and audit readiness.
- Establishing strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks for the GCC.
In terms of taxation and regulatory compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations such as GST, TDS, and corporate tax filings. You will manage tax assessments, audits, and coordinate with external advisors on regulatory and compliance matters.
Regarding transfer pricing and intercompany allocations, you will manage the transfer pricing framework for services provided by the GCC to various group entities. This includes designing and administering cost allocation and cross-charge mechanisms while ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations and documentation requirements.
Additionally, you will lead statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits for the GCC entity, implement and monitor financial controls and risk mitigation processes, and ensure adherence to corporate governance and compliance standards.
Your role will also involve driving finance operations on SAP ERP, establishing scalable finance processes suitable for a growing GCC environment, and partnering with Group Finance, Tax, and Business Finance teams across the organization.
Qualifications required for this role include being a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-12 years of experience in controllership, taxation, and financial governance. You should have strong experience in GST, TDS, corporate taxation, transfer pricing, and hands-on experience with SAP ERP. Experience in shared services/GCC/multi-entity environments is preferred.
