Legal Counsel

<div><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>Provide legal advice to the various functions and departments of the Company and perform other professional legal assignments.</p><h3>Main Accountabilities/Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Perform analysis, conduct research and prepare and propose legal advice on a range of professional legal assignments while exercising prudence and independent judgment.</li><li>Review and advice on current legislation, treaties and regulations pertinent to Company operations.</li><li>Coordinate and maintain liaison with outside counsel and in preparation of statements of law and facts for consideration.</li><li>Draft and review contracts, deeds, leases and other legal papers.</li><li>Provide Legal Advice on issues arising from or related to actual or anticipated claims, discovery, arbitration and litigation.</li><li>Provide advice on Sadara’s legal issues facing with due regard to the laws of Saudi Arabia, other jurisdictions and international jurisprudence.</li><li>Prepare, respond and present oral and written arguments to formal complaints and briefs at court hearings and administrative proceedings.</li><li>Prepare legal documents in respect of commercial agreements.</li><li>Review corporate policies, processes and procedures with proponent departments to provide guidance on compliance with applicable laws.</li><li>Maintain an awareness of developments in the legal field relevant to the organization, including reviewing and reporting on the implications of any new legislation.</li><li>Perform any job-related activities as requested by the General Counsel.</li></ul><h3>Education</h3><p>Graduate level degree in law from an acceptable institution.</p><h3>Professional Qualifications</h3><p>License to practice law in Saudi Arabia or an internationally acceptable jurisdiction.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
