ROLE SUMMARYThe Legal Counsel supports Majid Al Futtaim by providing legal, compliance, and risk advisory services to business stakeholders. The role involves researching legal issues, drafting and reviewing contracts and documents, supporting regulatory filings, and responding to business queries. Working closely with senior legal leaders, the position requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and delivery of practical, business‑focused legal support.ROLE PROFILEProvide legal, compliance, and risk advisory support to business stakeholders across the organizationResearch and analyze complex legal and regulatory issues and monitor changes in laws and requirementsDraft, review, and support negotiation of contracts, legal documents, and correspondenceRespond to legal queries from internal clients under guidance of senior legal leadershipSupport senior counsel on day‑to‑day legal matters and emerging business challengesAssist with regulatory filings and ensure timely and accurate submissionsContribute to legal and compliance training initiatives for business teamsLeverage data, technology, and efficient processes to enhance legal service delivery and governanceREQUIREMENTSLaw degree with admission to practice and good standing in relevant jurisdictionsMinimum 2 years of substantive legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal environmentStrong understanding of legal, compliance, and business concepts relevant to the roleExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholdersDemonstrates integrity in every action and upholds the highest ethical standardsHighly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectivelyWHAT WE OFFERAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
