Job Description Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing result-driven, detail-oriented support in problem solving and project execution at Clariant. Your role will require quick adaptation to Clariant's business and processes, showcasing a strong business orientation, ethical conduct, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial and business-related agreements such as M&A transactions, Joint Ventures, etc., across geographies, specifically for the EMEA-Region. - Ensure efficient, consistent, and compliant agreement management in alignment with legal and organizational standards and policies. - Advise and support Business Units and Functions. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure timely contract execution. - Collaborate with external counsel to manage litigation, ensuring timely filings and responses. - Keep track of regulatory updates and assess their impact on business operations. - Develop a deep understanding of projects and propose legal/business risk mitigation strategies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law from a reputed university. - Knowledge of Antitrust law. - Minimum 10+ years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE), preferably with a mix of leading law firm and in-house corporate exposure. - Hands-on experience in litigation support, including case management and documentation. - Experience in managing cross-border transactions and international stakeholders. - Very good English language skills. - Willingness to travel. - Prior exposure to the manufacturing or chemical industry preferred.
