The firm is recognized for its strong capital position, institutional-grade liquidity, advanced trading infrastructure, and commitment to regulatory excellence.Role OverviewThe Legal Counsel/ Barrister will join the in-house Legal team and act as a strategic legal advisor across the group’s regulated brokerage, payments, and digital asset operations.This role requires a commercially astute legal professional capable of navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments while supporting business growth and protecting the organization from legal and regulatory risk.ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advisory support on financial services regulations, brokerage (FX/CFDs), payments, and digital asset activitiesDraft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including client agreements, liquidity provider contracts, PSP agreements, and technology/vendor contractsSupport licensing applications and regulatory submissions across global jurisdictionsAdvise on corporate governance, board documentation, and cross-border structuring mattersManage disputes and coordinate with external counsel when requiredReview and update internal policies, terms of business, and legal documentation to ensure regulatory alignmentWork closely with Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Product teams on legal risk mitigation and regulatory interpretationRequirementsQualified Lawyer / Barrister from a recognized common law jurisdiction (UK preferred)6–12+ years of post-qualification experienceProven experience within financial services, brokerage, fintech, payments, or capital marketsStrong understanding of regulated environments and cross-border operationsAdvanced drafting and negotiation skillsCommercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business prioritiesExperience engaging with financial regulators is highly advantageous#J-18808-Ljbffr
