Job Description

The Lead for Workplace & Village Campus Development at Qiddiya Investment Company will spearhead the strategic planning and execution of workspace and community environments that foster collaboration, innovation, and well‑being. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design, construction, and operational readiness of our workplace and residential campuses, ensuring alignment with our vision of creating a world‑class entertainment destination.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Representation & GovernanceAct as the single point of corporate workplace authorityWorking across Workplace specialisms translate corporate objectives into spatial, technical, and operational requirementsApprove project briefs, employer's requirements, and design gatewaysChair technical review and design assurance forums, PCGs on behalf of WorkplaceEnsure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and ESG standardsWorkplace Strategy & Master PlanningEmbed workplace principles and occupancy strategies within the Project deliveryEmbed space planning standards and density targets set by Workplace EffectivenessWork alongside Workplace effectiveness to validate master plan alignment with long‑term growth forecastsDevelop campus technical design standards and workplace guidelinesDesign & Technical OversightWorking with Workplace specialisms review and challenge architectural, MEP, ICT, and security proposalsEnsure lifecycle cost optimizationDrive value engineering governance without compromising qualityOversee sustainability and energy performance objectivesProgramme & Delivery GovernanceActively participate and have line of sight across stage‑gate review frameworksMonitor CAPEX governance and budget adherenceReview risk registers and mitigation strategiesAlign phasing with business continuity needsOperational Readiness & HandoverDefine operational readiness criteriaAlign early with Workplace Operations and Workplace Experience teamsOversee commissioning and post‑occupancy evaluationStakeholder Leadership & Change ManagementWork alongside Workplace Effectiveness and Operations to engage senior leadership across business unitsOversee relocation and consolidation strategy. Be seen as SPOC "anchor" giving all Change Champions confidence "Workplace has this!Work alongside Workplace Effectiveness ensuring we manage cross‑functional governance committees and important corporate stakeholders, e.g. Finance, Procurement and HRProvide executive reporting to senior leadershipRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Facilities Management, or a related field12+ years delivering large‑scale workplace or campus developmentsProven experience acting as client‑side representativeExperience across master planning, design, construction governance, and operational readinessDelivery of 100,000m²+ developments or multi‑building campusesOffice portfolio consolidation experience (1,000+ occupants)Preferable Experience:GCC / Saudi Arabia experienceExposure to giga‑project environmentsHospitality‑integrated workplace modelsComplex multi‑stakeholder corporate environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
