Join a business with deep technical roots, where your voice is heard, your impact is visible, and your career is part of a legacy of excellence.</p><h3>Your Role</h3><p>As<b>Lead Piping Material Engineer</b>, you will:</p><ul><li>Develop and review piping material specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.</li><li>Preparation and review of Pipe wall thickness calculations based on Internal and external pressure as per ASME B31.3.</li><li>Preparation and review of branch reinforcement calculations as per ASME B31.3.</li><li>Preparation and review of Valve datasheets.</li><li>Preparation and review of Specification for all types of piping components including Pipes, flanges, fittings, Valves and Specialty items.</li><li>Preparation and review of Material Requisitions for Piping items.</li><li>Technical Bid Evaluation for Piping items.</li><li>Support procurement, vendors with technical issues.</li><li>Review and approval of vendor drawings for valves and various piping specialty items.</li><li>Perform the inter-disciplines checking for the part of documents in accordance with the scope of piping material section.</li><li>Define/Update Standard Tables in SRD and link to Rules to generate Commodity Codes&Idents</li><li>Mapping between COMPANY classes and Sub-Contractor classes.</li><li>Select and optimize engineering methods and procedures, ensuring designs meet company standards, international codes and regulations.</li><li>Plan and deliver scope of work proactively within agreed timelines and budgets, coordinating system interfaces seamlessly.</li><li>Apply lessons learned and manage change impacts across project boundaries to enhance outcomes.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties to meet contractual and internal requirements.</li></ul><h3>What We’re Looking For</h3><ul><li><b>Experience: Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in EPC projects in the Oil and Gas industry.</b></li><li><b>Education:</b>Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering</li><li><b>Expertise :</b>Good knowledge in using Smart Reference Data (SRD) to build Rules, Commodity Codes and Specifications. Proven experience working on ADNOC or GCC projects is highly preferred. In-depth knowledge of piping materials, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM, ADNOC) for Oil&Gas projects. Proven expertise in piping materials engineering, including design, calculation tools, and system engineering.
