STATIC EQUIPMENT DISCIPLINE SCOPEThe scope includes but is not limited to:Instrument Air ReceiversPlant Air ReceiversAir Dryer Vessels (Heatless/Heated)Filters SeparatorsKnock-Out DrumsPressure Vessels related to packagesAssociated static skids and mechanical packagesKEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESStatic Equipment Technical AuthorityAct as Lead Static Equipment Authority for:Pressure vessel designMechanical integrityOffshore installation feasibilityEnforce compliance with:ADNOC CoPsASME Section VIIIAPI 510 / 650 / 620 (as applicable)ISO pressure equipment standardsProvide final technical approval on static equipment design packages.Vendor & Package Engineering OversightReview and approve:Vendor datasheetsGeneral Arrangement drawingsDesign calculationsWeight & Center of Gravity dataValidate:Design pressure & temperatureCorrosion allowanceMaterials of constructionNozzle orientation & loadsEnsure OEM compliance with:ADNOC pressure equipment regulationsOffshore transport & lifting constraintsBrownfield Equipment Integration & Offshore FeasibilityLead static engineering for:Deck load integrationSpace constraintsMaintenance access & removal envelopesReview:Laser scan dataAs-built drawingsBrownfield modification method statementsSupport:Hot work planningSIMOPS integrationMechanical Integrity Fitness-for-Service & RBISupport:Mechanical integrity reviewsFitness-for-service assessmentsRemaining life evaluation (as required)Interface with ADNOC inspection teams for:RBI classificationInspection planningHydrotest exemption cases (if applicable)Support to Safety Studies (HAZID HAZOP ENVID SIL)Provide static equipment input on:Overpressure protectionPSV sizing & discharge routingVessel isolation philosophyMaintenance & access hazardsEnsure safety actions are reflected in:P&IDsLayout drawingsVendor dataLifting Transportation & Offshore Installation EngineeringReview:Lifting plans & rigging studiesPadeye locations & structural interfaceTransportation load casesEnsure:Vessel stability during liftingOffshore lifting safety factors are metCompliance with ADNOC offshore lifting standardsConstruction & Commissioning SupportProvide OE support during:Equipment installationAlignment & leveling checksHydrotesting & reinstatementPre-commissioning walkdownsVerify readiness for:Mechanical Completion (MC)Ready for Startup (RFSU)Documentation Registers & ADNOC ComplianceMaintain discipline registers:Static equipment listDatasheet registerDeviation & TQ logsReview and approve:Fabrication drawingsHydrotest packsFinal as-built documentationEnsure:ADNOC document numbering system complianceWeekly discipline progress reportingADNOC-SPECIFIC OFFSHORE SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIESEnforce:ADNOC PTW requirementsOffshore SIMOPS safetyDropped object preventionValidate:Equipment guardingAccess platformsEmergency escape compatibilityINTERFACE & COORDINATIONThe Lead Static Engineer shall closely coordinate with:EPC Mechanical & Piping TeamsStructural EngineeringElectrical & I&C DisciplinesCompressor & Dryer OEMsADNOC PMT Operations & Inspection TeamsSOFTWARE & TOOLS (MANDATORY)PV Elite / COMPRESS / Nozzle ProSolidWorks / AutoCADAVEVA E3D / PDMS (for equipment integration)MS Excel (engineering calculations & MTO)Navisworks (for review coordination)DOCUMENTATION & REPORTINGMaintain and update all static equipment discipline registers including:Static Equipment ListDatasheet RegisterVendor Drawing RegisterTQ & Deviation LogReview, verify and approve all static equipment deliverables such as:DatasheetsGA & Fabrication DrawingsDesign CalculationsInspection & Test RecordsHydrotest & Pre-commissioning DocumentsEnsure strict compliance with:ADNOC Document Numbering SystemADNOC Document Control ProceduresProject Master Document Register (MDR)Prepare and submit:Weekly Static Engineering Progress ReportsMonthly Discipline Status ReportsVerify and approve as-built static documentation and support the preparation of:Mechanical Completion (MC)Ready for Commissioning (RFC)Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) dossiersSupport ADNOC audits reviews and close-out of static-related actions and deviationKEY DELIVERABLESApproved static equipment datasheets and specificationsVendor technical evaluation and recommendation reportsReviewed and approved GA/fabrication drawingsFAT and inspection reportsAs-built documentation and equipment handover dossiersInterface and equipment registersQUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree in Mechanical EngineeringADNOC Offshore approval (or eligibility)Certification/Training in pressure vessel design or inspection is an advantageAdditional InformationMinimum 16 years of Oil & Gas EPC experience in Static Equipment engineeringMinimum 710 years experience on ADNOC Offshore / offshore projectsMandatory (Brownfield Platform Projects Preferred)PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESTechnically strong with high attention to detailProactive accountable and solution-orientedConfident communicator with ADNOC OEMs and EPC teamsStrong leadership and mentoring capabilityAble to work under tight deadlin
