Job Description

Job Description As a JAVA Full Stack Lead at UST, your role is pivotal in maintaining strong working relationships with the Product Owner to understand business needs, lead requirement-gathering sessions, and review designs for alignment. You will be responsible for owning and managing backlog items, coordinating with cross-functional team members to deliver planned sprint features. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting technical design reviews and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices. - Mentoring, leading, and upskilling team members on technical competencies and engineering standards. - Leading prototyping, development, and troubleshooting activities across UI and service layers. - Performing peer reviews focused on code quality, scalability, reusability, and maintainability. - Participating in collaborative discussions related to user experience, architecture, technical design, and implementation strategies. - Delivering product demonstrations to client stakeholders, showcasing new features and enhancements using modern frontend and backend technologies. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of Java development experience. - Strong experience in multi-tier application architecture. - Knowledge of GCP or any cloud platform. - Expertise in Java/JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP Web Services, Hibernate, SQL, Tomcat, WebSphere, SONAR, Jenkins, Agile methodologies, AJAX, modern integration patterns, UML, application design/architecture, design patterns, and hands-on experience with Angular (2.x or later). Preferred Skills: - 2+ years of experience in GCP service development. - Experience in building and deploying applications on GCP. Additionally, core competencies required for this role include software development, Java & Spring Boot, SQL, architectural design & patterns, and cloud fundamentals (GCP preferred).
