Lead HSE Engineer - Offshore

<div><h3>Role Purpose</h3><p>Lead and oversee all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities at the offshore site, ensuring full compliance with company standards, project HSE plans, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and incident‑free work environment.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide leadership and direction for all HSE functions at the offshore site.</li><li>Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans, procedures, and strategies for project execution.</li><li>Oversee risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP activities, SIMOPS planning, and safety studies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and international offshore HSE standards.</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and monitoring to ensure HSE performance.</li><li>Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, discipline leads, contractors, and HSE teams to ensure safe work execution.</li><li>Provide HSE training, coaching, and competency development for offshore personnel.</li><li>Prepare HSE reports, KPIs, performance dashboards, and regulatory documentation.</li><li>Promote a strong safety culture through active engagement, leadership, and behavioral safety programs.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications&Experience</h3><ul><li>Minimum 18+ years of HSE experience in the oil&gas industry.</li><li>Extensive offshore project experience is mandatory.</li><li>Strong knowledge of international HSE standards (OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, API, etc.).</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE, or related discipline.</li><li>NEBOSH IGC/IDip, OHSAS/ISO lead auditor certificates preferred.</li><li>Valid offshore medical, BOSIET/FOET, and H2S certifications.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
