Lead: Energy & SustainabilityJob DetailsDivision: CBRE ExcellerateMinimum experience: Mid-SeniorCompany primary industry: Facilities ServicesJob functional area: OtherJob DescriptionMain Purpose / Objective of the Position:Build a business process for the compilation, collation and reporting of sustainability data across all clientsHold overall accountability for providing support to the FM team to realize client sustainability initiatives i.e. NetZero, Green Star, SBTI etcSupport Facilities Management team with driving cost optimization programs for clientsConduct on site assessments and/or coordinate assessments to ASHRAE standardsPerforming feasibility assessments and preparing proposals to clients for implementation of resource efficiency, renewables, business continuity and resilience projectsPresenting proposals and securing approval from clientsDeveloping & implementing M&V plansProject management of approved projects to implementation and handover, either directly or through third -partiesIdentifying suitable technical partners and forming relationships with third party vendors for the provision of various technical projects including energy efficiency, water efficiency and renewable / alternative energy and water sources and microgridsActively drive and support training and development of teams to broaden understanding of sustainability concepts, reporting and regulatory requirementsConduct research and development around new business opportunities including industry changes, market demand, new technologies and product developmentPlay an active role as a company representative in industryDecision Making Authority:This position has the authority to:Execute all Key Performance Areas as stated on this form and in line with the Company approval framework and client policies and procedures.Experience / Education:Engineering Qualification requiredCertified Energy Manager (CEM) requiredAdditional RECP, CWP, CREP, CMVP accreditation advantageousKnowledge of ISO standards around energy management, NetZero Roadmap etcAt least 5 years experienceAMR and Smart metering expertiseSkills Required:Technical knowledge and experience in design and implementation of energy efficiency, renewable energy and microgrid projectsExpert understanding of utility managementProject Management SkillsGood Communications SkillsInitiative & Problem Solving SkillsWell Developed Report Writing SkillsHighly Computer Literate: MS OfficeKnowledge Required:Project Management PrinciplesKnowledge of Company Policies & ProceduresThe application of local municipalities bylaws and relevant SANS regulationsReporting principlesProject financial managementCompetencies Required:Results orientationAbility to exercise staff controlDecision MakingTolerance of StressDrive, will power and consistencyAttention to detail and strong organizing skillsAbility to work under pressureInitiative and problem solvingMust be reliableJudgement AbilityClient Service OrientationQuality AssuranceBusiness AwarenessMajor Drivers of Work Volume:Client requests, Document Store, Internal Projects#J-18808-Ljbffr
