Lead Electrical Engineer

Our outstanding market position and enviable reputation leads to strong trusted relationships and repeat business.Due to a strong pipeline of projects our Abu Dhabi team is fastgrowing and we are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to undertake a variety of projects across the region.In this role you will work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team across a variety of infrastructure buildings transport and other project types. This role will see you involved inLeading mentoring training and coaching other team membersUndertaking and managing the design and documentation of Building Services including: electrical power reticulation and distribution systems lighting design small power cable routing LV distribution and Single line diagrams standby power generation lightning protection and fire detection for new or revamp related projects.Demonstrated ability to manage client and authority meetings effectively ensuring clear communication compliance with regulations and alignment with project objectives.Proven capability to lead and oversee multiple projects simultaneously maintaining quality efficiency and adherence to timelines while managing resources effectively.Preparation and coordination of fee proposals technical report writing cost reporting and client liaison at project level.Preparation of authority submissions and construction phase services.Engaging Clients on work winning interviews and presentationsWhat you will bring to the team12 years experience in the design of electrical systems and the ability to lead and manage electrical and/or multidisciplinary teams undertaking commercial industrial education health transport infrastructure power and controls projects.An advanced understanding of Electrical codes in the UAE and beyond.Understanding of local council/authority requirements.Flexibility to travel for short term project assignments.An understanding of renewable energy resources.Proficiency with industry standard software (MS Office AutoCAD ETAP AMTECH PowerCAD AGI32/Dialux Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat).Ability/desire to carry out coordinated design in the Revit environment using and CANECO software packages.Our commitment to youFostering gender balance diversity and acceptance of flexible working is central to the way GHD does business.
