Full-timeJob Level: Highly experienced professional (10 - 15 years)Company DescriptionArchirodon , having earned its reputation as a reliable and respected international contractor for more than a half century in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) market, continues to create value to its stakeholders by executing complex EPC projects worldwide, in recognition of its superior standards of performance.We have an outstanding record in completing major Energy (Oil & Gas – Power and Water), Marine, Infrastructure and Defense & Security projects around the globe and we pride ourselves on delivering over the years the kind of reliability and trust that the client has the right to expect from a major EPC contractor.Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.Role Summary:Lead Engineer Material & Corrosion will be working with a team of highly knowledgeable professionals. Throughout the Engineering of the Project up to startup and operation They will:The Lead Design Engineer - M & C will report to the Project Engineering ManagerCoordinate overall engineering execution in collaboration with other Engineering Discipline LeadsBe responsible for the engineering efforts of the disciplines they are leading and the timely completion of works in their field of expertiseManage and guide their (discipline) teams, and oversee the pertinent engineering activities of external designers and consultantsInteract with their counterparts on Client’s (ADNOC) sideReview Engineering works in their field of expertise.What you will need to have:BE or equivalent in Chemical/Mechanical EngineeringProven experience in your respective engineering discipline - Minimum 15 years of relevant experience related to Oil & Gas Projects and detailed engineering experience in the field of expertiseTechnical competence in basic & detailed engineering with strong technical background, and advanced analytical skills in basic and detailed engineering design from project feasibility stage to plant commissioning and startupPrevious exposure to international environmentExperience using relevant commercial software applicable to Oil & Gas projectsIn depth knowledge of international codes & standards, international design guidelines & recommendationsExperience in Environmental regulatory requirements (local, international), review and understanding of local Environmental Laws would be a definite advantageExcellent command (written and oral) of the English languageStrong leadership and project management skillsExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentCommitment to safety and quality standards.You are someone who:Displays excellent interpersonal and communication skillsCan be counted on to achieve goals within schedule, demonstrating a fighting spirit and perseveranceIs keen to learn and professionally growIs flexible and eager to take initiativesDemonstrates sound Project Management SkillsIs effective at solving problems, troubleshooting and making timely decisionsDisplays a team spirit, particularly in a multicultural environmentIs commercially astuteWhat’s in it for you:Professional Growth, Challenging Projects, Collaborative Environment, Competitive CompensationCompetitive salary and benefits are part of the offering, yet the real joy comes from being a member of smart and passionate teams within an international leading EPC group that supports impactful for the local communities’ mega infrastructure development projects - literally around the globe - and encompasses a productive and human-centric culture caring for its people and their development!Please note that you will be contacted only if you are shortlisted for an interview.
