Job Description As the Data Architect for airport operations, your responsibilities will include: - Leading the design and implementation of data architecture and data modeling solutions for airport operations, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements and translating them into effective database designs and data management strategies. - Utilizing data analysis and visualization tools such as Azure, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools. - Providing technical leadership and guidance in the development of data standards, policies, and best practices. - Overseeing the integration of new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing airport systems. - Conducting regular evaluations and optimizations of the data architecture to support evolving business needs. - Defining and implementing data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations. - Mentoring and coaching junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. - Staying updated with emerging trends and advancements in data management and architecture and making recommendations for their application in the airport industry. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Master's degree in data science, Computer Engineering, or relevant discipline preferred. - 15-20 years of experience in data architecture and management. - Demonstrated experience in the airport or aviation industry is highly preferred. - Proven track record of leading data architecture projects and teams.
