Madre Integrated Engineering | Full timeReports To: Project Manager / Engineering ManagerJob PurposeThe Lead Civil Engineer will oversee, coordinate, and manage all civil engineering activities within assigned projects, ensuring designs, construction works, and deliverables meet contractual, regulatory, and quality standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in handling complex civil engineering projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Design ManagementLead the design review, development, and approval process for civil and structural works.Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and safety requirements.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve project goals.Technical OversightProvide expert technical guidance on civil engineering matters, including structural integrity, materials selection, and construction methodologies.Review and approve technical drawings, calculations, and reports.Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards.Construction SupervisionMonitor construction progress and ensure adherence to approved designs and schedules.Identify and resolve technical issues during construction.Oversee quality control and ensure works are executed as per industry best practices.Planning & CoordinationPrepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Ensure timely submission of engineering documents and reports.Regulatory & Quality ComplianceEnsure all works comply with local regulations and standards, including MME/UPDA requirements.Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Licenses & Certifications: MME/UPDA License (Mandatory).Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar senior civil engineering position, preferably in infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale construction projects.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering design principles.Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, or equivalent.Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.Leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Working ConditionsCombination of office-based and site-based work.Exposure to construction environments and varying weather conditions.May require extended working hours based on project needs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
