Job Description

Job Description As a Business Systems Analysis Sr. Manager at CIBC India, you will be a key member of the Big Data Platform Services (BDPS) team. Your primary role will involve acting as a liaison between business stakeholders, other CIBC technology teams, and the Big Data Delivery team to ensure alignment and understanding of functional and non-functional requirements. Some of your key responsibilities will include: - Leading requirement gathering sessions with multiple business and technology stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding and documentation of complex business needs - Building strong relationships, leading discussions, and asking the right questions to ensure solutions meet project requirements and business objectives - Conducting research and current state analysis to identify capabilities required to support future state solutions - Collaborating with solution designers, architects, and developers to design and validate solutions that meet business requirements - Developing deep expertise in CIBCs data landscape, orchestrating complex data mapping, modeling, and profiling activities - Analyzing and interpreting data using tools such as SQL, Excel, HUE (Hadoop), Databricks SQL, and others to support solution delivery - Coordinating with peer technology groups to ensure seamless delivery of data solutions, including EDH to EDGE migration and data lake creation Qualifications Required: - Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in business consulting, data analysis, and solution design within large, complex organizations - Proven ability to lead multiple projects and design end-to-end data solutions - Solid skills in eliciting requirements, stakeholder management, and documentation - Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills using SQL, Excel, HUE (Hadoop), Databricks SQL, etc - Experience with Confluence, Jira, GitHub, and data modeling - Demonstrated experience working with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies - Familiarity with Azure cloud services and Hadoop services - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills - Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development, collaboration, and delivering results - Commitment to CIBC values: trust, teamwork, and accountability At CIBC India, your goals are a priority.
