You’ll influence enterprise priorities, guide delivery across multiple initiatives, and elevate the maturity of business analysis within a fast-moving, low-process environment.If you thrive where structure is still being built, enjoy turning ambiguity into clarity, and want to shape how data products deliver measurable outcomes, this role offers real scope and impact.What You’ll Be DoingStrategic Business & Stakeholder LeadershipPartner with senior stakeholders including Directors, Heads of Function, and ExecutivesLead outcome-focused discovery sessions centered on value, KPIs, and measurable impactTranslate complex business priorities into clear, structured data and analytics requirementsAct as a trusted advisor to both business and technical leadersManage expectations, trade-offs, and priorities across concurrent initiativesLead business analysis across enterprise data warehouse, analytics, and AI programmesShape and prioritise data, analytics, and AI use cases aligned to strategic goalsAct as the primary interface between business leaders and data and AI engineering teamsOwn the business meaning, intent, and value of enterprise datasets and data productsEnsure business requirements align with enterprise data architecture principlesChampion modern lakehouse and medallion architecture concepts across business demandValidate KPI definitions, business logic, metrics, and data consumption patternsIdentify cross-domain data dependencies and impacts earlyDelivery Structure & GovernanceBring clarity and structure to delivery where formal Agile and Product structures may be limitedDefine requirement readiness standards and acceptance criteriaEnsure full traceability from business objectives through to delivered outputsSupport UAT planning, execution, and senior stakeholder sign-offMaintain high-quality documentation and requirement governanceAlign with delivery governance on intake, prioritisation, and release readinessData Products & Critical Datasets OwnershipIdentify and prioritise business-critical datasetsOversee the evolution of curated data layers and enterprise data productsEnsure downstream impacts of dataset changes are understood and managedTrack adoption, usage, and measurable business value from key datasetsSafeguard backward compatibility and change communicationServe as the business-facing owner of dataset purpose and valuePeople Leadership & Capability BuildingLead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts and Senior Business AnalystsCoach on analysis quality, data literacy, and stakeholder engagementReview and assure analysis outputs across programmesRaise the overall maturity of business analysis practicesWhat Good Looks LikeYou’ll bring both strategic perspective and hands‑on delivery credibility, combining strong stakeholder presence with deep data fluency.Skills & ExpertiseStrong understanding of enterprise data warehousing and analytics ecosystemsDeep familiarity with medallion architecture, including bronze, silver, and gold data layersConfident working with data models, transformations, and metrics logicSQL capability for data validation, investigation, and analytical oversightExcellent facilitation, documentation, and communication skillsAbility to challenge business demand and reshape it into outcome‑driven use casesExperience10+ years’ experience in Business Analysis rolesExtensive experience within enterprise data, analytics, or platform environmentsProven track record working with senior business and technical stakeholdersComfortable operating in evolving or low‑process delivery environmentsDemonstrated experience leading or mentoring other analystsEducationBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related disciplineCore CompetenciesCustomer FocusCommunication & InfluenceBusiness AcumenAnalytical Thinking & InnovationStakeholder CollaborationLeading ChangePerformance ManagementDeveloping OthersProfessional Integrity & ConfidentialityWhy This Role?This is an opportunity to shape how an enterprise turns data into decisions, analytics into action, and AI into real business value.You won’t just gather requirements.
