Job Description In this role at CDM Smith, as the Citizen Development and Support Manager in the Digital Engineering Solutions team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that facilitate CI/CD pipelines. Your critical thinking skills and proactive approach will be crucial in ensuring that software development and operations teams collaborate effectively. You must demonstrate exceptional abilities in implementing solutions for AEC initiatives involving cutting-edge technologies. As a member of the Development group, you will engage in research, provide guidance to AEC practices, and incubate innovative ideas within the company. Your extensive experience and commitment to continuous advancement are key to driving measurable results. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of projects independently within a group environment. - Evaluate and develop project scopes, milestones, key deliverables, and deadlines. - Manage distributed teams, establish clear expectations, provide training, and oversee performance management. - Delegate responsibilities to ensure project objectives are met. - Define the vision for LCNC adoption aligned with digital transformation goals, establishing governance frameworks for secure application development. - Implement the project delivery process for the LCNC framework, including idea generation and post-launch maintenance. - Develop roadmaps for sustainable application development and digital transformation using LCNC platforms. - Lead and maintain LCNC community guidelines for citizen developers. - Integrate LCNC platforms across the product lifecycle and with current systems and third-party services. - Identify and establish standards for constraints, limitations, and risks associated with LCNC platforms. - Build a high-performing team for the global service desk, focusing on IT service strategy and ITIL-aligned policies. - Mentor team members for problem-solving and act as the primary contact for challenging IT issues. - Manage daily support operations, including incident resolution and service quality maintenance. - Identify improvement opportunities and implement necessary changes. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience. - Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. - Knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, methodologies, and software development pipelines. - Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams. - Proficiency in low-code and no-code frameworks, DevOps, data management, and infrastructure pipeline management. - Strong project management skills, IT security understanding, and agile methodologies knowledge. - Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, IT support lifecycle, and ticketing systems. - Ability to track KPIs, create reports, and ensure timely resolution of support requests. - Proficiency in understanding IT systems, processes, and best practices.
