Laundry Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Laundry Technician to join our facilities management team in Dubai United Arab this role you will be responsible for the maintenance repair and optimal operation of all laundry equipment within our organization. Your expertise will ensure that our laundry operations run smoothly and efficiently directly contributing to guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Were looking for a professional who is collaborative resilient and committed to maintaining the highest standards of equipment performance and safety.Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all laundry equipment including washing machines dryers steamers boilers and pressing equipmentConduct routine inspections and testing to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency and complies with safety standardsRespond promptly and professionally to equipment breakdowns and service requests from the Laundry departmentMaintain detailed records of preventive maintenance schedules repair work completed and spare parts inventoryTroubleshoot equipment malfunctions using technical manuals wiring diagrams and equipment schematicsAssist in the installation calibration and commissioning of new laundry equipmentEnsure strict compliance with all safety health and environmental regulations while performing dutiesReport significant equipment issues or recurring failures to the Chief Engineer for corrective action and process improvementCollaborate with other technicians and departments to support operational needs and share best practicesMaintain cleanliness organization and safety standards in the workshop and equipment areasContribute to energy conservation and cost-saving initiatives within the departmentAttend training sessions and departmental meetings as required to stay current with industry standardsQualificationsRequired QualificationsTechnical diploma or certification in Mechanical Electrical or Refrigeration EngineeringMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience in laundry equipment maintenance and repair within a hotel hospitality or facilities management environmentStrong knowledge of laundry equipment operation maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniquesProficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals wiring diagrams and equipment schematicsDemonstrated hands-on skills in mechanical electrical and plumbing repairsAbility to analyze problems systematically and implement effective solutionsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsFlexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing operational demandsProficient communication skills in English both written and verbalBasic computer literacy for maintenance reporting and documentationPreferred QualificationsAdditional technical certifications or specialized training in commercial laundry equipmentExperience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Knowledge of UAE safety and compliance standards for commercial laundry operationsMultilingual abilities (Arabic or other languages)Experience in a high-volume laundry operation or hospitality settingDemonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional developmentStrong time management and prioritization skillsPhysical fitness and ability to perform manual labor safely and effectivelyAdditional InformationDirectly opposite to The Dubai Mall the iconic Burj Khalifa 10 minutes walk to the Dubai Metro Station and within a few minutes drive to DIFC World Trade Centre and just 15 minutes drive from Dubai International Airport Swissotel Al Murooj is located in downtown Dubai one of the citys favoured destinations for business or leisure.Remote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
