Landscape Foreman

Purpose and Scope of Position (Main Objectives):To assist the Landscape Supervisor in maintaining all landscaped areas in excellent condition through effective coordination of gardeners and labor. The role focuses on enhancing the overall aesthetics of the club while ensuring proper care, maintenance, and replacement of plants, trees, and greenery as required.Key Responsibilities / Duties:Act as Landscape Supervisor in their absence and ensure smooth operations.Oversee maintenance of all landscaping elements including plants, trees, shrubs, groundcover, and seasonal flowers across the grounds.Coordinate and supervise gardeners and laborers to maintain landscapes in optimal condition.Ensure proper care and maintenance of indoor plants within the clubhouse.Identify and replace plants as required across landscaped areas.Assist in designing and implementing new landscaping layouts, including seasonal beds and aesthetic improvements.Manage plant propagation activities within the nursery.Ensure proper watering, fertilizing, and overall plant care routines.Monitor plant health and report any disease or pest issues to the supervisor promptly.Prepare plant cuttings and grow them for ornamental use across the grounds.Re-pot plants as required to maintain healthy growth.Coordinate the transfer of plants between nursery and landscaped areas.Perform additional duties as assigned to support landscaping operations.Skills & Requirements:Basic knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, and plant care.Ability to supervise and coordinate a team of gardeners and laborers.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high aesthetic standards.Ability to identify plant diseases and maintenance requirements.Physically fit to work in outdoor environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
