ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily tasks like planting, pruning, weeding, and irrigation maintenance for project sites.Supervise gardeners and labourer's, assigning tasks and providing mentoring on horticultural techniques.Ensure tools and machinery are operated safely and maintained, reporting any breakdowns.Conduct routine inspections to ensure high-quality plant care, site cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.Monitor material usage, manage inventory, and assist with project budgets.Oversee landscape technical planning, designing layouts, and implementing irrigation or hardscape plans.Supervise contractors and manage project timelines to ensure adherence to approved designs and regulations.Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly progress reports and technical site documentation.Ensure compliance with municipality regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements.QualificationsRequires 2‑+ years of experience in landscaping, with specialized expertise for supervisory or engineering roles.Strong understanding of irrigation systems, horticulture, pest management, and fertilizers.A diploma or bachelor's degree in agriculture, horticulture, or landscape engineering is common.High school diploma or degree in horticulture/engineering.Ability to operate machinery such as mowers and trimmers.Strong knowledge of local municipal requirements for landscaping.#J-18808-Ljbffr
