Land Surveyor

Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Land Surveyor to join our field operations team. The primary focus of this role is to perform high‑accuracy boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys. The ideal candidate will have mastery over the Trimble S5 Total Station and associated data collection software to ensure seamless data flow from the field to the office.Key ResponsibilitiesField Data Acquisition: Execute precise measurements for boundary surveys, topographic mapping, and utility coordination using the Trimble S5 Robotic Total Station.Equipment Management: Perform daily calibrations, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of the S5 series hardware and Trimble Access (or related) data controllers.Construction Staking: Provide accurate layout services for infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and building foundations.Control Networks: Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control networks using a combination of Total Stations and GNSS equipment.Data Processing: Upload and manage field data, ensuring all "raw" files are organized and ready for CAD technicians to process into final deliverables.Technical QualificationsInstrument Expertise: Experience specifically with the Trimble S5 robotic total station.Software Proficiency: Skilled in using Trimble Access field software, AutoCAD and familiarity with Trimble Business Center (TBC) for data QA/QC is highly preferred.Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local surveying laws, map acts, and boundary principles.Physical Stamina: Ability to navigate rugged terrain, carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs), and work in various outdoor weather conditions.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for basic drafting or point cloud management is highly preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
