Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor - Marine to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this crucial role you will be responsible for conducting precise marine surveys collecting and analyzing data and providing essential information for various marine and coastal projects throughout the region.Set up and operate specialized marine surveying equipment including GPS and sonar technologyConduct bathymetric surveys to measure and map underwater terrain with exceptional accuracyPerform hydrographic surveys for coastal engineering and offshore projectsCollect process and analyze survey data using advanced software tools and GIS applicationsPrepare detailed reports charts and maps based on survey findingsCollaborate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to support marine construction and development initiativesEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards local marine regulations and environmental guidelinesMaintain accurate and up-to-date project documentationParticipate in safety briefings and adhere to all safety protocols for marine operationsConduct tidal and current measurements to support various marine projectsContribute to the planning and execution of marine construction and dredging projectsTravel to various coastal and offshore sites within the UAE as requiredQualifications : Bachelors degree in Surveying Geomatics or a related fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience in marine surveyingProven proficiency in using marine surveying equipment including GPS and sonar technologyExtensive experience with data processing software and GIS applicationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailStrong physical fitness to work in challenging offshore conditionsDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to travel to various coastal and offshore sites in the UAESafety-conscious mindset with thorough knowledge of marine safety protocolsIn-depth understanding of local marine regulations and environmental standardsExperience with tidal and current measurementsFamiliarity with marine construction and dredging projectsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficientlyAdaptability to work in diverse marine environments and weather conditionsAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
