OverviewLand surveyor in Doha, Qatar. duties and responsibilities, qualifications and experience required.Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, creating maps and developing plans for construction projects. This includes checking the accuracy of survey data and ensuring that all measurements are taken accurately and with precision. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in this field and will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team.Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct surveying operations using the latest technology such as total stations, GPS, aerial photography, etc.Prepare detailed maps, plans and reports of land survey resultsCompile data from a variety of sources including field measurements, aerial photographs, satellite imagery, etc.Analyse survey findings using mathematical calculations to ensure accuracyEnsure that all surveying equipment is maintained properlyMonitor the progress of construction projects to ensure compliance with plansMaintain accurate records of surveys conductedLiaise with clients regarding specific project requirementsQualifications & Experience RequiredA degree or diploma in Land Surveying/Geomatics/Civil Engineering or a related field3+ years of professional experience as a Land SurveyorWorking knowledge of surveying software such as Auto CAD or similar programsExcellent problem solving skills with an eye for detailAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectivelyA valid driver’s license is preferred but not requiredWillingness to travel when necessaryWe welcome applications from immigrants who meet our qualifications outlined above.
