Lab Technician

OverviewWe are looking for a qualified Lab Technician for a steel factory to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature. You will be handling sensitive equipment to analyze samples or substances and conduct tests reporting findings to a laboratory manager.LocationJob location: Jeddah, KSA.ResponsibilitiesPerforming pre-analytical proceduresSorting, allocating, and delivering specimens to work stations and loading onto laboratory instruments, as requiredReceiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming specimens or solutionsParticipating in basic quality control procedures and inventory managementMaintaining good record-keeping practices while adhering to quality and safety programsMaintaining accuracy and calibration of laboratory testing equipmentPerforming routine inspections on laboratory equipment to determine when maintenance is requiredUsing relevant computer software programs to collect or input data and informationExpert in dealing with most lab instruments such as Gas Chromatography, Moisture Analyzer, pH, Conductivity, TDS, TSS, TOC, COD, Cl, Fe, X-Ray, FTIR, Density, Specific Gravity, Melt Index, Color Index. Experience in Gas ChromatographyQuality Assurance & Laboratory ExperienceQuality Assurance Department, laboratory section, GC lab to analyze gases and liquid samples like hydrocarbons and water in GC instrument. Good control over the samples during plant startup or shutdownMTBE, PP product analysisUsing many types of GC for analysis such as Agilent, Broker and SION and their troubleshootingMost of the water analysisPolymer physical and chemical analysis such as MVR, Melting point, Color, Contamination test and formaldehyde concentrationWork on Injection molding machine and Extruder in smooth and safe way and their troubleshooting#J-18808-Ljbffr
