Lab Engineer

<div><h3>Role Overview</h3><p>We are seeking a<b>Lab Engineer</b>with strong expertise in HVAC systems and Controls. The successful candidate will lead and supervise hands‑on testing, manage client interactions, oversee report generation, and drive development of lab systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with international standards, optimizing lab operations, and mentoring junior engineers.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead and supervise the setup, execution, and validation of HVAC system testing activities as per ISO 17025, AHRI, ASHRAE, and other relevant standards.</li><li>Act as the primary technical contact during client witness testing and ensure professional communication throughout the process.</li><li>Review and approve test reports before issuance to clients.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab workflows, reduce testing time, and improve data integrity.</li><li>Oversee preparation of facilities, fixtures, and documentation prior to customer testing.</li><li>Manage day‑to‑day lab operations including equipment maintenance, calibration scheduling, and procurement planning.</li><li>Author and update Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to quality systems.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with ISO 17025:2017 and other applicable standards.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.</li></ul><h3>Skills&Experience</h3><ul><li>3–7 years of experience in HVAC or product testing environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of HVAC system components, psychrometric principles, and performance testing.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in programming and data acquisition systems.</li><li>Proven experience with AHRI, ASHRAE, or ISO standards and certifications.</li><li>Excellent documentation, analytical, and organizational skills.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under strict timelines.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
