Trade Finance Operations Manager – Exports (L/C Manager)Role OverviewDoha Bank is seeking an experienced Trade Finance Operations Manager – Exports (L/C Manager) to lead and manage the full spectrum of trade finance products. The successful candidate will oversee operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and system transformation initiatives, ensuring efficiency and innovation in trade finance services.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementManage end-to-end processing of trade finance products including Letters of Credit (LCs), Guarantees, Standby LCs, Documentary Collections, and Loans against Trust receipt (LTR)Ensure timely and accurate execution of export-related trade finance transactions.Maintain high standards of compliance with international trade rules and banking regulations.System Analysis & ImplementationConduct trade finance system analysis and lead implementation projects.Bridge the gap between business and technology by gathering requirements, re-engineering processes, and coordinating UAT and system go-live.Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to UCP, ISBP, URC, URDG, and ISP standards.Maintain strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to mitigate operational risks.Stakeholder EngagementWork across diverse client bases and cross-functional teams to deliver efficiency and compliance.Provide expert guidance to internal teams and clients on trade finance products and processes.Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders including correspondent banks and regulators.Educational Qualifications:University graduate with a degree in Business or Banking or Finance or Economics or any other related discipline.Master’s degree in Management or any other related discipline will be an added advantage.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Minimum 8 years in trade finance operations with a focus on exports.Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of trade finance products, systems, and international rules (UCP, ISBP, URC, URDG, ISP).System Skills: Proven track record in system analysis, process re-engineering, and project implementation.Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English.Certifications: ICC certification (preferred).Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.#J-18808-Ljbffr
